Campground & Cabin Overview

Playport Marina serves as an excellent home base for fishing Crab Orchard. The cabins are comfortable, clean, and sit just yards from the water, which makes morning prep and kayak launching incredibly quick.

Fishing and Launch Access

You can launch your kayak directly from the grassy banks near the cabins or use the main concrete ramp for larger bass boats. The standing timber begins right outside the marina bay, meaning you don't have to paddle far to get into prime bass territory.

Important Notes

• Cabins fill up quickly during spring and summer weekends; book early.
• Bring a cart if launching heavy kayaks, as the walk from some camp sites is about 100 yards.
• Watch the stumps near the marina entrance if navigating in a motorboat.
